Contributing to the Scholarships

We hope that your experience or the experience your child had in the department was a positive one and that it left you with a desire to contribute to one or more of the scholarship funds we have created. Or perhaps you would like to have a Scholarship created in your name or the name of another.

There are several ways you can contribute including outright gifts of money, bequeathing a scholarship account a portion of your inheritance, donating property which can then be used or sold as your contribution, or having a scholarship created in your or another person's (or company's) name. Whichever method you use, your contribution is not only appreciated, it is needed, greatly appreciated, and will be used wisely.

If you would like to endow a scholarship with $5,000 or more, we can create a named scholarship for you (using your name, a parent's name or anyone else's name you'd like to use) and it will produce an annual scholarship within one year of creation. As you may know, the minimum amount needed before scholarships can be awarded is $5,000. You could create the scholarship in one year or spend several years bringing the amount up to $5,000.

Amounts in excess of $5,000 will create one or more scholarships every year, depending upon the amount of money in the scholarship account.
